Incoming Sourcing Specifications

PLASTIC SPECIFICATION

General Description: Clean Computer, Electronics, Appliance, and Automotive Plastic Scrap.

Detail Description: PP, ABS, HIPS and PC blends.

Physical Form: Shred or granulate packaged in Gaylord boxes or bags.

Deduction Items (items that are accepted but which lower the material value) :

Glass filled plastics
Coated or painted plastics
Foamed plastics
Plastic with labels
Non-target plastics
Non-plastics items

MBA Polymers reserves the right to reject loads containing, cumulatively greater than 5% by weight, the above listed "Deduction Items". The cost of handling rejected loads will be the responsibility of the supplier.

Prohibited Items: Loads that contain any hazardous materials will be rejected.

Note: All loads will be inspected and graded at the time of arrival at MBA. Photos will be taken to record contamination in received materials. MBA reserves the right to adjust material pricing based on conformance to the specification.
